Submission input type date doesn't work properly once a value has been set

Describe the bug
Date field can only be changed via the arrows once initially set in the submission. If you enter the year by mistake as "23" and save, you are required to use the up arrow to change it to 2023

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. logged in as a submitter
2. create a new workspace item, enter a test tile and 23 as year
3. save for later
4. reopen the workspaceitem and try to modify the date entering something like 2000 etc. the information is cleaned up as soon as the field loss the focus

Expected behavior
You should be able to change a value entered with the date input type also by input the value manually without the need to use the arrows
