We should check if it is possible that the website could be updated so that inactive members do not appear on any research page or project page. Right now the page at content/pages/research/cxr.md still displays people that are marked as inactive.
It would be great if we can automatically remove inactive members instead of manually doing this.

I think this issue should be addressed as part of a broader update to the websites - also in terms of content, in line with the plan to refactor the About and Research pages. Honestly, I’m still unsure if this is exactly what we want: personally, I think it makes sense for inactive members to still appear on the project/research pages they are associated with. But I think this is a decision for staff to make.
