Title: Any Known Issues with old NCE D104P2K Decoder
Description: I build DCC-EX V-5.0.7 on a Mega with an L298N H-bridge (current sense resistors added) and WiFi. Everything looks good as far as I can see but no joy communicating with the D104P2K decoder. In no particular order, I have tried: + HP 971 Multimeter - frequency about 5680Hz, voltage 9.6 across the rails + Tektronics 2215 Oscope - can't get a good synch - didn't try the SCOPE #define but that only seems to stretch a leading zero - any way to have a spare pin on the Mega toggle at the start of each packet for synch? + Life-Like Proto 2000 GP-7 runs fine on DC with decoder installed or jumper plug - decoder defaults to DC operation by design per specs - runs both directions so input diodes should be good + Ran WebThrottle with diags on - file attached - no acknowledgement pulses detected - WIFi works with Engine Driver Android app but still no response from engine + Built and ran EX-DCCInspector - logs attached for PROG track with D ACK ON - samples at Mega pin 4 - tried to sample at track but my junkbox 4N36 optoiso has 6us response time - junk
