Title: CV Programmer will nor read/write CVs

Description: This is a new setup - my first go with DCC-EX (what a great product!), after years with Digitrax, When I attempt to read a CV from a ESU decoder on the TRK_B, my multi-meter shows about 11vAC, but CV Programmer returns a 'DCC Address Read Failed!' error. I have used to produce the attached log in the hope that you may be able to help. Kind regards, Jeff Law, New Zealand

You will need to do further checking to determine where the issue exists.
Try a different locomotive to determine if it is an issue with the programming track or the locomotive.
There was no evidence that current sense was functioning -- you can briefly short the tracks to see if the short is detected when power is on to the programming track.
<1 PROG>
You can swap the connections and set track A to be the programming track, to see if it is only an issue with track B.
<=A PROG>
You have not provided the startup log. Sometimes the programming track has been disabled -- there is an option to disable the programming track in EX-Installer, or in config.h
Startup log would also show the version and motor shield.

The discord server is better suited for an interactive discussion.
https://dcc-ex.com/support/index.html#preferred-option-discord
.. and you would likely see replies to questions within a few minutes
