r_hn = RelatedObject(relationship="Resolves_To")
r_hn.idref=nc_obs.object_.id_
r_hn.id_ = None
hn_obs.object_.related_objects = [r_hn]

I want to skip that third line. Also it would be great if the idref could be made a keyword argument.
