Being able to chose the number of tiles

Hi, would it be posible to chose the amount of Tiles the upscale uses instead of letting it chose automatically? I would like to use higher resolution per tile while keeping the tile amount to 4 without being limited to use only half of the original image size, would it require resizing higher resolution tiles down to fit into the original image size? that would benefit quality quite a bit
