Version 2.0.3
Minor bug fix and improvement release. Increased compatibility with some readers, that did not support the cbz results before, as well as an overall more polished UX.
Changes
- Added option to toggle zip compression. Disabled by default now.
- Changed settings will now be applied to all running backup processes seamlessly. E.g. increasing parallel download limit, won't require a page reload of the books page to take effect anymore.
- Failed backups are now marked as failed instead of just showing the default "Scan Comic" button state. Makes batch downloads a little bit easier.
- Other minor UI changes.
- Improved watermarking system.
- Small bug fixes and code refactoring.
Version 2.0.2
This is an important bugfix release because 2.0.1 stopped working recently. It's recommended for every user to update.
Changes
- IMPORTANT: Made compatible with the new cmxlgy page structure
- Fixed bug that caused broken zips and cbz files in some scenarios
- Slightly improved exploit scan. IMPORTANT: If there are pages missing in your backups after the update, you may need to force a new exploit scan. This can be done in the options.
- Updated zip library
- Fixed UI bug, that could cause wrong button sizes and alignment
- Code refactoring. Now checked against JSHint.
Thanks to @mattjmorrison.
Version 2.0.1
This version is what 2.0.0 meant to be. All known problems with the previous release are fixed now and should bring you a much more reliable and convenient user experience.
Changes
- Scan buttons will now appear after you switch pages on a series page.
- Fixed big memory leak, that would cause the extension to crash after you downloaded some comics.
- Extension will now backup much larger comics due to a vastly improved backend and a new zipping engine. (Comics with 1000+ pages still cause problems though.)
- The images of single image downloads are now all grouped in a folder per comic instead of putting them all straight into the Downloads directory, which makes multiple comic downloads at the same time much more convenient.
- Improved reliability. Downloads should not freeze anymore or contain blank pages.
- If you still have reliability problems (when cmxlgy changes their code again) there is a new latency compensation feature in the options, which will automatically analyze your network and rendering performance to make downloads more stable.
- New downloading engine, that will improve performance and will be able to handle new features in the releases to come...
- As always: Other minor bug fixes and UI enhancements...
Thanks a lot to everyone who made bug reports and helped testing the pre-releases!
