I get this error trying to run WhisperDesktop.exe

I have the same exact error. that happens as our CPUs are lacking AVX and f16c instructions. this is common in really older CPUs. I'm just wondering if this application is supposed to run on GPUs why does it require certain CPU instructions?

Anyway, try this build posted by @Const-me https://github.com/Const-me/Whisper/files/11405589/1.11.sse.zip
It should work if your CPU only lacks AVX but support f16c.
