one use of the full text searches are to generate potential dataset-publication linkages for manual validation. Using 3 APIs (for now - dimensions, pubmed and openaire), dataset names and alt_titles are arguments to full text search functions, searching across publications within a given lit database. Such functions were used to output potential linkages for NOAA datasets - the lists were quite large.

Improve full text searches by adding arg to control # of responses, and add functions to parse outputs to easily filter down to the fields needed for validation (title, doi, journal).
