I found a copy of colemak_dh_iso_us.map in the Artix Linux distribution (their keymap file is named "mod-dh-iso-us"). By default it uses caps lock as Backspace which I didn't like. Following your suggestion, I uncommented the line which was supposed to bring back the caps lock's original behavior.
Alas, this does not quite work. When caps lock is on and you type letters with Shift, you'd expect lowercase letters to be typed (such is the behavior on the standard "us" keymap). The mod-dh-iso-us produces uppercase letters in this situation.
I did not find a way how to bring back the standard "us" layout's functionality of shift with caps lock. I tried to add "keycode 58 = Caps_Lock" but that did not change anything.
