I have really enjoyed Trick Dog in several of its incarnations. Can get v loud/crowded though.

Vistied 4x this year on various trips to SF. Has an amazing/attentive bar staff as well. Cocktail quality doesn't go down no matter how loud/crowded it got, has a patio area for warmer months
