I can take a peek at this but I'm very unlikely to want to start maintaining another package for a distribution channel I don't use at all unless I can entirely automate this and not have to think about it when releasing:

If this is an issue about supporting a new package/installation method for a platform you use, please consider maintaining it yourself/with others and submitting a PR or issue with a link to it - they'll be very much appreciated and likely added to the README quickly.

If anyone wants to do this, feel free as well, I will really appreciate it!

As an aside, I also thought conda was an entirely Python-ecosystem thing but TIL it's not, neat.

Indeed it's nice bc it's portable across systems and has environment management etc. I haven't packaged anything for it myself, but I'm assuming it should be pretty easy to automate and push artifacts to conda-forge.
