General Introduction
Welcome to general introduction page which should give some basic info about CUK system. All CUK users are advised to read this wiki pages and familiarize with all concepts and possibilities in system.
On this page there can be found section about users and about layout and basic terminology.
Users in CUK system are divided into three groups: guests, officers and incomings. Guests are users who do not have account in system (aka public visitors), the two remaining groups are internally divided even more:
- Guest
- Officers
- Incomings
Users with higher privileges has of course same privileges as lower ones and some more in addition (eg. LEO can do same things in system as Contact Person and Nobody and even more).
Layout of CUK pages is divided into four parts: menu, header, footer and content. This layout is different in public parts of system and is described in Public Parts section.
Located at left side of page, contains all accessible page links which are available at the moment.
Top part of page with some general headers and most importantly with User navigation.
Bottom part of page which contains description of IFMSA and some usefull links.
Most important place in layout which shows all the stuff.
In CUK there is also some parts of system which are visible even without need of login. There are two different public feature for now: Showroom and Feedback. Showroom is something like hall of fame for IFMSA members, current and previous ones. Feedback can be used for giving information from medical exchanges. This information are given by students who went abroad and have experiences with IFMSA program. Further description of these services are in separate page.
Layout of public parts is different than in privately accessible pages. Public layout has same footer and content, but header and menu is different. In fact header and menu is merged into one header which contains all necessary things. This ensures bigger place for content and more important things.
Only different part is header which is placed at the top of a page. Alongside logo it contains simple navigation.
