Project Description

This project is an ecosystem simulation game which includes machine learning. A single player starts the game with a divine perspective. Within this ecosystem, several species coexist, ranging from the graceful prey to the cunning predators, each with its unique behaviors, traits, and roles. The game introduces the element of artificial intelligence, where multiple educated AIs imitate the actions of real animals in the wild. These intelligent AIs respond to the changing environment, showing natural instincts, hunting strategies, and survival techniques. For example, the deers will inhabit the areas near water sources where there will be many kinds of food sources, the herd of deers will attract the wolves which will try to hunt them. Naturally, the deers will exhibit the most common survival behavior of fleeing to survive. The player must not only face the unpredictable nature of these AI-driven creatures but also anticipate their actions to preserve the ecosystem's stability. The player can do this by using his various abilities to alter the environment.

For instance,

  • If the wolves overhunt and significantly reduce the deer population, the player must help them to keep the ecosystem stable by either increasing the deers' food source or by changing their habitat terrain to keep them away from the wolves.

  • There will be a point system where certain acts done by the AIs give the player spendable points. The player should manage these points by spending them carefully to keep the balance of the ecosystem. Some of the things the player can do with these points are; placing food sources and many kinds of animals, spawning creatures that will hunt certain species to stabilize the population, causing natural disasters or miracles to change the world etc.

The game will end if one or more species disappear.
