background video - not working on desktop?

Hey guys! I've embeded a video and layered components on top (basically we have a form and want the video to continue in the background while form steps change)

It works really well on mobile browsers- no issues. But on desktop it does not load at all.

Set up:

we did a url from cloudinary to host the video - have autoplay on and it is on budibase using a "background image"
we cannot do an iframe because we are putting this into our platform as an iframe... so 2x iframe = no video either
I tried to use the embed component but you cant layer on top I think?

PLEASE offer insight if you have it - really need to get this going!!
