A bunch of people know that I'm starting my own business and writing some software for myself.
In order to validate my idea, I've written some truly horrifying code, with even worse architectural decisions in order to ship an MVP.

I could do a tour of the nonsense I've written, the corners that I've cut, and explain why it's probably not the worst thing in the world.

No slides, just code (all in theme with Cutting Corners).

This talk:

  • Can go for as long as people like etc
  • Could be part of a series as I stumble through starting a start up
  • Will not make you a better developer
  • Is for anyone of any experience level
  • Is a good excuse to laugh at me, my ideas, and probably realise you shouldn't hire me
