some animation or movement would be nice on the first screen, wether the red icon is subtly changing, the individual elements fade in, etc.
animations should be triggered at certain scrollpoints instead of being tied to the scroll speed. Sometimes the animations go really fast if you’re scrolling quickly
App should peek in from the bottom on the first screen and then scrolls into place instead of fading in
Also similarly for the last section, if the bottom of the chat window peeked in when you got to the bottom of the homepage where you see the big “Get started” button. See updated index file for how it might look
one thing that would help is if a few steps within each section animated. This would draw attention to whats going on and also slow down the animation without making it feel like nothing is happening. These don’t have to mirror the app flow exactly, but we outlined some of the things that we could do in the updated index file.
Animations within each section:
add an application: If we could have each of the steps fade in as the user scrolls down.
select an image: It would be great if you could see the first screen → selecting an image screen → then back to where the image is selected and setup.
share an collaborate: Could we animate in the chat bubbles as they would in a real chat window? Fun? Bonus for an animation of the messages being typed out.
“bowery website” in the title bar of the app in the first section could maybe be something more general? “Your Site” maybe
center the “or visit the blog” underneath the “get started” button.
“how does it work” button’s rollover fade to the orange color used for the explainer text ( rgb(253, 106, 87) ) and move the arrow down 10px
without the dock the Desktop analogy kind of gets lost
