I think you are looking for a demo user that has some example protocols in their workspace already.
We provide a slight variation on this where, we provide examples that any user can upload to create a new protocol. These are in the `examples` directory.

I'm thinking simpler: the signup barrier is sufficient to limit early exploration, especially when PAML and PAMLED are being discussed in group calls. This situation just arose today during the Open Auto Club meet: participants couldn't see what the editor does, so it wasn't used at any length. A demo user whose data is reset, or for whom persistent storage is disabled entirely, greases the wheels. |
Ah, I see. I hadn’t considered that creating a dummy account would be a barrier. Thank you for pointing that out.
I think we can do that without out too much trouble. I need to consider the secure way to do this. I agree that it would make the barrier much lower. I will add this to my plans for the next release.
