B3 on rented gameserver

Is it possible to use b3 on a rented gameserver? I have access to plugins and other serverfiles.
I need mysql right?
I can create a mysql database but not on the same server. So how to use b3 in this constellation? 🙈

Most gameservers don't allow python scripts running. It's much better to rent a VPS and install everything yourself if you want everything on one system. There are pros and cons to doing that, so do your research before hand,

Another option to consider: You can install B3 from a different system and connect to it through FTP.
