Describe the bug
Today (August 15, 2024) launching Discord it updated itself to Stable 1.0.9157. Trying to re-install/repair BD afterward does not work. Similar to what happened in June but from a quick search couldn't find mention of this being known yet, for Stable or Canary/PTB.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. On Windows launch Discord, it updates to 1.0.9157
  2. Try to re-install BD with Installer
  3. Launch Discord
  4. BD components are not injected, client is vanilla.

Expected behavior
BD components to be injected in the client.

System Information:

  • OS: Win10
  • Discord Version: Stable (1.0.9157)

same thing happend to me to me too.
but I think for me the problem was, that discord updated, and it made a app-1.0.9167 folder, but the folder was empty and the discord was running from app-1.0.9166 folder.
I closed discord, and reopened it, then discord removed the empty app-1.0.9167 folder by itself. ran BD installer, and recognized the discord install.

try fully closing discord (terminate/quit), and reopen it. if BD didn't recognize it, try deleting the empty folders of other discord versions
