Calibration process

Hi,
I'm PhD student of Université Paris Saclay working with Pascal Sailhac who told me during my PhD to use Razorback.
I'm trying to understand some stuff about calibration. In fact, we want to use Razorback and compare with an other code that Pascal have developed. From here, questions about calibration processes come from for Pascal and me.
Especially, we are using magnetic sensor call SHFTe02 and I tried to modify the calibration code in order to use metronix calibration file for this sensor.
I think i fix it for the pattern, but i'm not sure how to modify the alpha map part, i don't understand what the meaning of this part.
So of course i face up to errors...
Even if the calibration function works, i'm wondering when the calibration is apply to data.
It would help me a lot if you have time to explain me this part. You did a great work and i want to use it as much as i can :)
