we want to be able to refer to activities using a standard classification. Exiobase is based on a modified version of NACE but Exiobase has some more details about recycling. This should be represented in the correspondence tables.

The isic code has https://hackathon.bonsai.uno/project/9. which is another possibility.

I suggests start with NACE and then move to isic if we have the time. Ideally exiobase3 to nace2

  • validate table
  • fill metadata

The number in parenthesis in the activity name -when existing- is the nace rev1 division. This should help in the classification.

Hi guys,
maybe someone may give an an advice. I have COICOP product codes. How to map them with EXIOBASE industry(163) codes
