Every package in the requirements file should have attached versioning information.
Some users will not use a virtual environment to run this software, but just run it on their native systems.
If an older (not compatible) version of a package is already installed on their system, they are out of luck.

Therefore, we should provide the required version for each required python package.

This problem is recurring in the EXIOBASE-conversion-software and the YSTAFDB repositories.
