Long Text Responses Cause Self Monitoring 1 Crashes

Describe the bug
A participant has reported that when they entered a large amount of text into their response to the Self Monitoring 1 Activity, it caused the activity to crash. When they reopened the activity all their text had disappearance and they had to retype it out a few times.

To Reproduce
Open up the Self Monitoring 1 Activity and enter significant amounts of text to see if we can reproduce the crash

Expected behavior
The Activity should not crash (unless an unreasoanble amount of text is entered). If possible the state should save on crash so that relaunching the activity has close to where their response left off (Nice to have, not necessary especially if crash is replicated and resolved)
