We would like to have a "self-help" version of mindLAMP similar to the demo version that can be used without creating an account. Individuals with the app on their phone would be able to access certain activities such as mindfulness activities and simple surveys; this "self-help" version would not store any data on the server.

@kijote0 What differences are you expecting for this type of user login compared to the demo user type?

@kijote0
Please see our understanding below. Let us know if there are any differences :

Add a new option called "Self-Help" to the try-it menu for end users. The view will be similar to the demo user account, but with the difference that the data will be retained locally to allow users to track their progress. No data will be saved to the server; everything will be managed on the user's device.

Note: Voice recording activity will not be available in this version, as the data would be too large to handle locally.

Could you also suggest the types of activities you expect for this "Self-Help" version?

@sarithapillai8 Your understanding is correct. We have created a test account on the dashboard (https://dashboard.lamp.digital/#/researcher/6yj87yrfnrjehm2pwea8/activities) with the types of activities we would expect for the self-help version, which are the following:

  • Breathing activities: 5-4-3-2-1 Grounding Technique; 5-4-3-2-1 Mindfulness; Breathing Break; Mindfulness; Mindfulness: Anchoring Ambiance; Mindfulness: Breath Awareness; Mindfulness: Breathing Exercise (long); Mindfulness: Daily Mindfulness Questions: Mindfulness: Daily Mindfulness Questions; Mindfulness: Loving Kindness; Mindfulness Mountain Meditation; Mindfulness: Positive Thinking; Mindfulness: Walking meditation; Relaxation: Nature; Self-compassion Meditation
  • Mindfulness activities: Daily Mindfulness Practice
  • Surveys: Daily Check-In
  • Tips: Finding a Therapist; Learn: Behavioral Activation; Learn: Definitions; Learn: Diverse Identities; Learn: Nutrition Tips; Learn: Personality; Learn: Physical Wellness; Learn: Resources; Learn: Skills Videos; Learn: Social Tips; Learn: Suicide & Self Harm Resources; Learn: Thought Patterns and Definitions; Learn: Thought patters (advanced); What is Mental Health?
