When a special topics course request is submitted, the user goes into course management to approve it. When I was trying to approve a special topics course, I was very confused on how to do so. I think that the process could be more clear. Right now there is a dropdown that holds all of the statuses of the request, and the admin selects approved, submitted, incomplete, and denied from the dropdown. Once they hit save with the status they want, that's what happens to the course. I think adding some approve/deny buttons would help indicate to the admin on how to approve/deny a special topics course request. Maybe needs some more discussion with Scott.
