This type of question is why personally I think this stand alone repo may well be a mistake.
As opposed to having a common interface for getting batches from change streams/change feed that the core function app extension can call and having it integrated into that.
Given the lack of development resources that have been put into this repo so far (vs azure-webjobs-sdk-extensions ) it looks likely that it is always going to miss functionality implemented in the core repo.
Although some of the worker extensions live in this repo, more recent extensions are maintained in the same repositories as their WebJobs extension counterparts (e.g., SQL, OpenAI, etc.) and the plan is to move the extensions we currently have in this repo to align with that approach. Azure/azure-functions-dotnet-worker#2493 (comment)
I think the issue that needs to be addressed is why this repo is not being maintained or not allocated enough resources.
Do we have any plans for adding support for Azure Functions Isolated?
