Earlier this week the multi-tenant registration for the CLI for Microsoft 365 was disabled (https://pnp.github.io/blog/post/changes-pnp-management-shell-registration/). This means:

  • The microsoft365r_use_cli_app_id option is no longer useful
  • The authentication vignette will need changing to not recommend using the above
