Environmental Threat Detection for Hydroponics

Welcome to Auto-Detect, an environmental threat detection component developed by Team AutoGrow. Auto-Detect integrates with the hydroponic tent, Denzyl, allowing farmers to monitor and respond to extreme environmental conditions, protecting your plants and equipment from potential hazards.

Our Hydroponics Tent: Denzyl

Auto-Detect operates within Denzyl, the hydroponic tent designed and equipped with advanced IoT sensors for environmental monitoring and control.

  • Arduino IDE: Platform for developing the microcontroller code.

Getting Started

  1. Download and Install: Clone the Auto-Detect repository or download the source code.
  2. Set Up Your Sensors:
    • Connect the Tilt Sensor to Pin 2 for monitoring angular shifts.
    • Connect an LED Indicator to Pin 3 to visualize threat status.
  3. Upload the Code:
    • Open the code in the Arduino IDE.
    • Upload to your Arduino device after connecting the sensors and LED.
  4. Test System Response:
    • Activate the tilt sensor or simulate rain to verify the automated shutdown and notification functions.
