Update: I deleted and re-created my account, and the app (Authenticator)'s code is no longer accepted, even for the initial configuration! So it doesn't seem like the issue was my backup/migration, but perhaps an update either on the app's side or on the website's side (it was Login.gov). I've had to use an alternative authenticator for now, as this is no longer working, at least for this website. |

At some point I had to reset my computer and re-imported my .txt backup. However, for some reason, the code does not match what is expected by the website. I've tried importing via manual entry as well, no success. Any hypotheses to what might be different, or suggestions as to parameters to experiment with? Are .txt backups complete, or is there other parameters that I need to configure to make sure it matches?
