Supported models #5
Comments
I've only tested with the White Noise Machine model. Theoretically the Pro model should be supported. Do you have the Button or Pro model? If so, I'm happy to get these supported officially. |
I've just received Snooz's new fan/sound machine hybrid Breez from their kickstarter campaign. Any smart people who contributed to this great integration have also ordered one and plan on integrating it? :) |
I'm reaching out to the SNOOZ team to see if I can get test devices for the new Pro and Breez model. I'll post an update here as progress is made. |
I have the Pro and Breez models on the way, so there will officially be support for both. Sometime next week I'll share an update with a timeline for when we can expect each to be checked into Home Assistant Core. The plan is to support the Pro model first. |
That's awesome! Pro certainly sounds like the more simple integration due to also being a sound machine rather than sound and fan :) you're absolutely ace. |
The Pro and Breez models arrived today. After a quick test, the Pro model works out of the box with the Home Assistant integration. The Pro and Breez both come with WiFi support, but it's not currently utilized by the firmware. I'll share more details around what you can expect from me on this project schedule wise in the coming weeks; As of right now, my availability for work on this is limited. If I get around to it, I may be able to publish specs for integrating the Breez in case someone in the community is interested in contributing to move things along faster. |
Hey Austin, I was wondering whether you had made any progress with the Breez? Thanks! |
Hi @nikotime, Breez is supported in v0.9.0. I've started the work to get these changes in Home Assistant core (home-assistant/core#100016), but haven't been able to complete this yet due to limited availability for open source work. I expect to revisit that effort in late March. |
That's wonderful news thanks so much!

Which models are supported? The home assistant documentation only mentions the SNOOZ White Noise Machine. What about the SNOOZ Button and SNOOZ Pro? Both are controlled using the app, the latter also has a physical fan.
