@jdnguyen11 -- I just realized that your Doppler formula is all backwards! The correct form should be
v = c(1-nu/nu0)
rather than the reverse! I think this will help out your distances (which are huge, they should all be < 12 kpc).
can you also make a plot of galactic longitude vs. latitude for the sources. I'm concerned that some of the data are actually in RA/DEC coordinates and are being interpreted as GLON/GLAT.
