The volume control icons are far too small for the screen. Most of the time I have no clue if I am even pressing them or not. My first impression was that the volume + & - were icons, and the "slider" was meant to be moved to increase and decrease the volume
The solution for the buttons would encompass the following
Increase the size of the volume + & - buttons
Define the volume + & - buttons as buttons via the circle that is present on nearly all other buttons of the UI
The issue is the volume "slider". I say it with quotes as it isn't actually a slider.
Currently, They reside between the volume + & - buttons. And provide a visual estimation of the volume of the music.
A solution can be one or more of the following
Lower the entire volume control element (buttons & "slider') so there is more distinction
Move the "slider" to the bottom of the screen, allowing the buttons more room & some UI breathing room
Change the "slider" into a right triangle. With the 90* corner on the right side (an option in the future would be nice for left handed individuals to swap this). This triangle can be filled in and vice versa with the volume changing.
