Frequent crashes when rendering lava-based features in amplified world [1.20.1] [Forge 47.2.0] #719

As stated in the title, my Minecraft game often crashes when I go to parts of the world that have things like lava waterfalls and lava lakes exposed to the surface, and may keep crashing after reloading. Attached is my most recent crash report:

I have been experiencing this issue as well. See this crash report.
This seems to be a rather large issue, as others have been reporting it as well ( #703 #712 ), and yet no attention has been given to this yet.

Until this is resolved, I recommend you use Embeddium
