Unity Version

2020.3.42f1, 2022.3.20f1

Device/Platform Info

Current Behavior

In some cases, when the app is hidden right before interstitial ad is shown, next interstitial ad will not load.

Expected Behavior

When the app is hidden and then opened again, it should not prevent an interstitial ad from being displayed, or at least the next interstitial ad should load.

How to Reproduce

  • Hide the app 0.1-1.0 seconds before an interstitial ad is shown
  • Quickly reopen the app

Additional Info

The issue has been reproduced using different versions of Unity and on different devices.
This project was used to reproduce the issue. This is an almost identical copy of the AppLovin Demo App with a minor modification that requests interstitial ad every 10 seconds.
