When attempting to change the quality of a YouTube video, clicking on the circle menu displays an “Options” button. However, selecting it does not provide the expected video quality settings (e.g., 1080p). This functionality previously worked but no longer seems to be available. Is there a workaround?

Thanks for the great app you have created btw.

I experience the same. As a workaround I click on the video frame itself until it shows settings gear (standard YouTube web player interface) and then change the quality there. The setting is persistent, next time i play a video it uses last setting.

Thanks for the reply as8o. I can't seem to emulate your solution. Can you please clarify. Thank you

See this screen recording. Works for me on the phone, but also on Android Auto.

One correction, you have to press Back button on the interface first, so it exits fullscreen mode, then you can click on the video and get access to the regular YouTube controls and eventually also put it back in fullscreen

I noticed the same thing. Once you exit full screen player and hit the gear icon once, then the Video Quality link will open the panel up. Maybe it's just something to do with the menu placement.

If you exit full screen and then tap on the 3 buttons, the menu will open but its kinda forced off the page and only shows the option for 'Auto'
