  • Check heartbeat jitter (Not sure this is worth it)
  • Wait for Add hearbeat register harp-tech/protocol#45 and implement heartbeat checker (this would be the preferred strategy)
  • Given a list of expected devices check the clock generator pinout (completed in 2a7563e)

Do low hanging fruit now. But push a better qc to later once the new synch device is ready
