Is there a way to delete/disable alexs mobs mod in a modpack? #2184

My modded server gets too laggy sometimes and according to the spark profiler the lags are mainly caused by the alexs mobs. The problem is I cant just delete this mod form mods folder as the server wont even start after that. Is there any way to somehow solve this problem?
