Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
I have an existing Rails app. Comfy as a CMS should be replaced with Alchemy. I did not find any good information on how to to make helpers and functions of the existing app available in the Alchemy application layout.
Also I found no information about how to render menus

Describe the solution you'd like
I'd like to have a documentation more focused on integrating Alchemy into a existing app.
This means to answer to questions to "how to render a menu", "how to render a particular page", "how do can I change the admin menu to integrate it more with the existing application admin", "how do I make may already existing helpers available within the Alchemy context"

I agree that the documentation could be better for this case. Since you are currently adding Alchemy into an existing Rails app, do you mind to write up something that we could add to the Guides? They are also open source https://github.com/AlchemyCMS/alchemy-guides
