AfricArXiv is working on our own AI-based communication chatbot tool tailored towards the HE and R&I sector, in this exploratory stage we are utilising open-source software https://rasa.com/ as complementary to our core service repository as outlined at https://github.com/AfricArxiv/preprint-repository

Thanks to @johav johav we have been given access to a snipet of preprint server bot code https://github.com/JeffSpies/osfpreprints-feed/blob/master/main.py
I am having a look at it as it needs to be redeployed with adjustments made to include AfricArxiv, also @johav's contact has alluded to the fact that such changes may come with a tiny bit of cost. Johav's contact has graciously indicated very kindly that he would be happy to sponsor our deployment as he could probably make use of it too
a possible collaboration.
