Selections notes

Many operations in Smoosic act on the selected music. You select the music the way you select text in a text app, with the → to move right, ← to move left. Shift+→ expands the selection left, etc.

In the last example, note how the selection is preserved as the notes get shorter. When you change something, Smoosic will try to keep the selection as close as possible to what you had when the music changes. You can also use the mouse to select notes. Selecting a range across multiple staves is not supported (yet). But you can use Control+click to select notes in multiple staves.
