Moon

Lore

Moonbase Alpha was the largest manned facility on the Lunar surface since it's establishment in 2037. Serving primarily as a scientific outpost at first, the base experienced rapid growth as it became a major resupply hub for pioneers taking their first steps out into the solar system.

Location? underground? appearance? read this wiki for ideas

locations which may get included in later versions of the game

Saturn (hand wave to arrive at Titan Station)

Uranus (hand wave to arrive at L1 space station)

Neptune (L1 space station)

station station design inspired by Poseidon's spear shape

moving section could represent an atmospheric collector scooping the upper atmosphere for methane/ammonia/water ices and then returning with payload
