What do you think about working the launch into the travel screen using a background which starts on the ground at KSC and goes up into space? Like a stretched version of this:
For extra fun later, we can add animations for the SLS showing exhaust and staging.

600px height like the other backgrounds, and for width... hmmm. I suppose we want the player to scroll across it for ~1minute? I'm not really sure though... maybe like 2kpx? Maybe this is a good use-case for those faster-scrolling layers I mentioned before.
