So far, as illustrated in the second video in particular, this is presumed to be purely a visual bug and should not affect the underlying stack data of either the Portable Cell Workbench or the cell being configured within. This bug also only seems to be present when removing and replacing cells with the mouse, as shift-clicking cells either into or out of the workbench does not lead to this bug.
Efforts to debug and fix this have as-of-yet proven completely futile; the underlying logic of even the regular Cell Workbench from AE2 is already a point of confusion and attempting to debug most of the logic related to saving caused breakpoints to fire anywhere between 2 and maybe 6 times at once during debugging. The logic used for the Portable version in MEGA is also almost identical to that of the regular Cell Workbench, however this bug does not occur with the regular workbench at all.
Pending further investigation.
