It would be a nice way to differentiate the results of the 'to hit' roll and the damage roll, plus, it would make it easier to identify what damage types are being done in the heat of the initiative.
It could go as far to also identify the the 'to hit' roll eg:
Greataxe: 10 [2] + 8
Greataxe: 7 [2] + 5
becomes:
Greataxe: 10 to hit [2] + 8
Greataxe: 7 slashing [2] + 5
or:
Greataxe: 10 [2] + 8 to hit
Greataxe: 7 [2] + 5 slashing
Who would use it?
GMs who use the bestiary or DM screen when running combats
Why should this be added?
QoL change to make it that one little bit easier to run combats from the DM screen/bestiary pages. Similar suggestions have been made regarding rolling each damage type (for creatures/spells with multiple damage types) at the same time and then differentiating, this may be an alternative to that, I have little coding knowledge so can't tell which would be easier/possible to implement
